National K-9 offers year-round pet boarding services for dogs in the Columbus, Ohio and Central Ohio areas. Our climate-controlled boarding complex has a fresh air ventilation system that offers year-round temperature control. All dogs are provided with individual accommodations that are cleaned and disinfected twice daily. We will provide bowls, chew toys and bedding (upon request) for no additional charge. Our caring staff hand-walks the dogs multiple times a day, including late at night at no additional charge. You may also select personalized one-on-one Activity Packages (for an additional fee) to be added to your dogs boarding stay that includes an obedience training refresher, extra outside walk time, playtime (ex: fetch), petting/hang-out time, or a combination. Our staff records each dog’s daily eating, elimination and behavior throughout its stay. At checkout, a staff member will review the details of your dog’s stay.

National K-9 is located directly off of I-270 just north of Broad Street on the east side of Columbus. We are conveniently located near John Glenn Columbus International Airport, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Blacklick, Whitehall, Bexley, East Columbus, New Albany, Pataskala, Pickerington, and Westerville. Upgrade Activity Packages
- Bronze ($13 per day): Your dog will receive one (1) personalized activity time. Owners will also receive a daily Activity Report summarizing your dog’s experience at pick-up.
- Silver ($20 per day): Your dog will receive two (2) personalized activity times. Owners will also receive a daily Activity Report summarizing your dog’s experience at pick-up.
- Gold ($25 per day): Your dog will receive two (2) personalized activity times plus a bedtime treat. Owners will also receive a Daily Activity Summary by text with your dog’s photo. Owners will also receive a daily Activity Report summarizing your dog’s experience at pick-up.
The personalized one-on-one Activity Packages can be added to your dog’s boarding stay. All upgrade packages are in addition to your dog’s current boarding rate (listed above). These upgrade packages provide opportunities for your dog to receive additional attention and activity with our caring staff. These activities are in addition to the outside time that boarding dogs receive four times a day for potty breaks. Personalized sessions may include an obedience training refresher, extra outside walk time, playtime (ex: fetch), petting/hang-out time, or a combination. Our caring staff will evaluate each individual dog to determine which options work best for your dog.

There is an additional $15.00 charge for dogs that board during the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. Boarding during these major holidays may require a two night minimum and a start deposit.

Drop-off and Pick-up Times:
Monday and Friday: 9:00am – 11:00am and 4:00pm – 6:00pm.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00am – 10:00am and 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Sunday and major holidays: 4:00pm – 5:00pm (pre-paid pick-up only).
Special business hours for pick-up and drop-off:
- 2024 Christmas Eve: Drop-off/Pick-up 9:00am to 12:00pm and Pick-up (for pre-paid customers) from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
- New Year’s Eve (12-31-24): Drop-off/Pick-up 9:00am to 12:00pm and Pick-up (for pre-paid customers) from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
- Christmas Day and New Year’s Day : Pick-up (for pre-paid customers) is available on from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
