CONTIUNING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of National K-9’s Professional Obedience/ Behavior (4-week) Certification Course or the previous Professional Obedience/ Behavior (3-week) Certification Course, may return to National K-9 to pursue on-going education opportunities. These graduate training workshops/seminars include specialized areas such as service dog training, scent detection, tracking, personal protection, and more. FOR ALL OBEDIENCE/BEHAVIORAL COURSES
A Mandatory Orientation will be held the Sunday afternoon prior to each 4-week Obedience/Behavioral Course start day. An Application Fee of $75.00 (in United States dollars) and a copy of your High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) are required with your application. Application fees may be paid by Cashier’s Check, United States Money Order, or personal check. The balance of your tuition is due on or before Orientation Day. If paying by personal check, tuition must be received at least fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the course. Tuition may be paid on Orientation Day by Cash, Cashier’s Check, United States Money Order, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. Please note that National K-9 School for Dog Trainers does not provide financial aid, payment plans, offer scholarships, or provide discounts. As a student of National K-9, you may bring one dog to go through the course with you. Please consult the school’s Administrative Policies and Frequently Asked Questions for additional information.

OHIO INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION ANTI-HAZING REPORT
The National K-9 School for Dog Trainers has had no reports or violations of the institution’s anti-hazing policy in the five consecutive years prior to January 1, 2025. As an institution holding a certificate of registration from the state board of career colleges and schools, the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers is required by Ohio Revised Code Section 3345.19 (anti-hazing policy) to post reported violations of the institution’s anti-hazing policy on its publicly accessible web site.
Ohio Senate Bill 126 also known as Collin’s Law was signed into law and took effect on October 7, 2021. Collin’s Law, Ohio’s Anti Hazing Act, enacts several changes intended to end hazing at higher education institutions in the state of Ohio. In addition to increasing criminal penalties for hazing, Collin’s Law also requires each higher education institution in the state of Ohio to post a report of all hazing violations on a publicly accessible website.
